تعلن مصلحة الأبحاث العلمية الزراعية (LARI) عن حاجتها لتعيين مدير فني ضمن إطار تنفيذ مشروع PROTECHMED " تعزيز الحلول المبتكرة للانتقال التكنولوجي في القطاع البستني في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط”، والممول من برنامج التعاون عبر الحدود Interreg NEXT MED.
يتولى المدير الفني تنسيق الأنشطة التقنية للمشروع، الإشراف على التنفيذ، وتعزيز التعاون مع الشركاء المحليين والدوليين في مجالات الزراعة الذكية، البيوت المحمية، والإدارة المستدامة للموارد الزراعية.

Technical Manager Job announcement PROTECHMED Project
The Lebanese Agricultural Research Institute (LARI) is recruiting a Technical Manager within the framework of the PROTECHMED Project, funded by the Interreg NEXT MED Programme. The position will support the technological transition of the Mediterranean horticultural sector through innovation in greenhouse systems, sustainable inputs, and digital agriculture.
Deadline for applications: October ٢٦, ٢۰٢٥.
Duty station: LARI, Tal Amara, Zahle, Lebanon

Requirements:
Education:
• Master’s degree (minimum) in Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture, Plant Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
• PhD is an asset.
Experience:
• Minimum ٥ years of proven experience in technical management of agricultural or research projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in protected cultivation, greenhouse systems, or precision agriculture.
• Experience with digital agriculture tools (DSS, smart farming solutions) is highly desirable.
• Strong background in project coordination within international or EU-funded projects (e.g., ENI CBC MED, Horizon, PRIMA).
• Familiarity with monitoring & evaluation tools, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Skills:
• Solid technical knowledge in greenhouse management, smart systems, and horticultural innovation.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic and French are assets).
• Ability to lead teams, manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
